Hi! I am Melissa Baker, a certified Christian executive, life and leadership coach. My background is healthcare where I served the healthcare industry first as a clinician and then later moving into a corporate setting where I worked with hospitals and healthcare systems on supply chain cost reduction efforts.
My passion was helping organizations and individuals realize their goals by partnering with them to align systems, resources, and technology to better position themselves in the marketplace. I am motivated and passionate to serve the client. I am known by colleagues as compassionate and committed to the service and success of others.
As a professional coach, I have an unwavering sense of purpose in helping my clients grow and utilize their unique abilities and talents to make an impact in achieving good works. I love providing value in helping others who want to grow personally and professionally through a growing awareness, mindset shifts and celebrating successes along the way. In a personal chapter of my life, I was a caregiver to my beloved husband, who had a long-term illness and after losing him at the onset of Covid, I realized that I still had life with many years ahead of me. From this awareness came the desire to serve others like me, who are in transition, and need help in moving forward with a new beginning. Coaching helped me move ahead with passion and purpose and a greater resilience in serving others and living the rest of my life fulfilled.
We all experience change and transitions in life whether from the loss of a job, a loved one, a role change, retirement, etc. The way we deal with these challenges sets our path.
We can choose to embrace significant growth or experience decline, achieve emotional fulfillment or sink into depression, find joy or face sorrow. Choose the best path by empowering yourself and living your life to the fullest today.
